Steorra
[steh-OH-rah] Old English, noun: star.

Above Us, Steorra Eau de Parfum

Above Us, Steorra
A star, steady in the sky
Thought it was the only light
Solitary in its glow
But then a fire cut the dark
Disrupting certainties
A glimmer of possibility
And so it took the chance
Ignited with an amber glow
Illuminating the unexplored
Charting its own course
Seeking its own story
Propelled by a question:
Shall we trust in the unknown?

A unique ‘fabulist accord’ conjures the imagined scent of amber, with Frankincense, Labdanum and Vanilla Bean illuminating an aromatic impression of the fossilised tree resin.

A radical streak of Cardamom, unfiltered and unrounded, soars from incandescent spice in the opening notes to glimmering warmth in the base.

The fabulist accord and radical ingredient combine to create a distinctly modern amber signature, which long-term fragrance collaborator Céline Barel describes as ‘something incandescent—hot and cold at the same time, a complex bouquet of spice.’

Inspiration
A story told through scent
The fable-like poem that evokes the fragrance’s point of inspiration nods to our namesake, Aesop the Fabulist, whose yarns have provided life guidance for over 2000 years. For further cosmic inspiration, see our selection of recommended reads.
The effect is to give us a glimpse of the meteor’s tail—incandescent radiance set against the cool, dark vacuum of space.
